A great expansion, adds more beautiful artwork some cool new resources, and some cool new additional special tiles, oh and did I mention the 5 tower castles!! If you enjoy the base game, I would highly recommend picking this up.

The expansion adds another board, which I didn't think would work, but it seems to function just fine. It's a bit of a pain to set up with a lot of tiles that must be placed (they can't be pre-printed because they count as a tile on the space, and they are immobile). The new avenue of scoring (coins) seems to address the large blob strategy from the base game which can be quite dominant. I'm happy to play this expansion with experienced players, but I'm just as happy to play without it.
