Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Tried it, was a little underwhelmed though I played it at two players (area control games especially tend to be less satisfying with two). Need more plays, but I'd play Spirits of the Forest or Masons any day before this one, so on the chopping block it goes.

Abstract with great looking components. It plays in good time and allows for some clever play. The second abstract part is definitely more interesting than the first. I felt the scoring was a little uninteresting. This is going to be best with two

I like the area control mechanism applied to the theme of falling leaves. Its important for players to understand how each season (rounds) impact each other as growing trees in the spring impacts the options for where leaves can fall in the autumn. I appreciate the lighter, shorter take on a typical area control mechanism as each player gets limited chances to dominate the area with their fallen leaves.
