Bloodborne: The Card Game
30m - 45m
2 - 5 Players
Ages 14+
Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Games where you repeat an action (or part of an action) until you decide to stop due to increased (or not) risk of losing points or your turn.
Press your Luck
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
The simultaneous action selection mechanic lets players secretly choose their actions. After they are revealed, the actions resolve following the rule-set of the game.
Simultaneous Action Selection
Variable Player Powers is a mechanic that grants different abilities and/or paths to victory to the players.

Fantastic and basic game. A good entry game for people who don't normally play games. It's competitive with offering a co-operative feel to it.

One of the few semi-coop games that seems to work. This is a more stream lined tale on something like "Cutthroat Caverns"... and it works really well. There is take that, but its about picking the right moment rather than constantly happening. I have not played the video game, so don't know much about the theme, but as just a game, the game is good, so I imagine if you like the theme, this is probably a no brainer to pick up. Game has a ton of replayability too since you really don't use many of the cards in each game... Making the variety on the dungeon huge.
