Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
A time track mechanism is a variable player-turn order mechanism by which the player who is last on the time track goes next. The function of this mechanism can allow a player to have multiple sequential turns due to being last after each one.

The game is clean and easy to follow. The complexity laid in the combination of spells. I find the usage of cards is really annoying, it could be implemented as a proper tech tree (and the foil really distracting). its the game that 'almost' there (but not a bad game) due to the very unknown of how well other players are playing and very non-exciting onetime scoring at the game end. this game somehow reminds me of Scythe in terms of solving your little puzzle for effective movement, collect resources then covert it to unlock your tech tree and scoring are mainly determined by who has the most higher level tech tree research.

collectors edition via kickstarter. Straightforward rules, looks great, loads of strategy and depth. Due to random tile buildup each play requires adjustment of strategy.

Really enjoy the production and gameplay of this. The theme works well and the spells you are able to obtain and modular board make every game a different experience.
