Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
This mechanic usually requires players to pick up an item or good at one location on the playing board and bring it to another location on the playing board. Initial placement of the item can be either predetermined or random. The delivery of the good usually gives the player money to do more actions with. In most cases, there is a game rule or another mechanic that determines where the item needs to go.
Pick-up and Deliver
Tile Placement games feature placing a piece to score VPs, with the amount often based on adjacent pieces or pieces in the same group/cluster, and keying off non-spatial properties like color, "feature completion", cluster size etc.

1st play: This is a cool Pick Up and deliver mixed with an tile laying game. It reminds me of Tobago in that you're trying to lay down clues to create locations to excavate temples. The pick-up and deliver part is very quick, and straightforward. Overall a good 2p game 2nd play: Worth noting, this game being only for 2p hurts the rankings, but the game is very good still. Great production quality, and played the 2nd time must faster than the first. Tons of combos to pull off and varying goal cards ramp us in a satisfying way.

An outstanding big little game! It’s little in the sense that it is for two people and that the box is rather small. But big, in the way that you might actually have to expand your table to finish it. We sure had too! And it’s just a bliss to play it. Took rather longer to finish then first thought. Minus points for unclear instructions, but nothing internet did not solve. Definitely recomend!

4/19 E15-Another nice 2 player game. Tile laying along with resources is always fun and I appreciate that this isn't a super simple tile laying game (because some are!) although most folks can learn this easily enough.
