Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Great components but I think the rules and gameplay are not. Played twice with 2 and 4 people. For the 4 person, we need up with 1 player getting the last place for every round. It basically sucked. Similar happened in the 2 player. Going to try to develop another game with the components.

We found out that we liked deduction games so this feels like a hidden gem. I think the dexterity element of tossing the gnomes is quite funny but the others thought it was kinda pointless. We laminated the investigation sheets so they would be reusable and made some screens so they could also be kept secret. All in all it's a really enjoyable deduction game with a moderate amount of cut-throat aspect, taking not too much time out of a game night. Uh, and I loooooooove the artwork! xD

Deduction game. Not great with 2 players and I don't care to try it again. Very fiddly and even a small dexterity mechanic. Just weird. Cool minis though.
