At the beginning of each round of When I Dream one player takes the role of the Dreamer and “falls asleep”, wearing a cloth mask. The other players are secretly dealt their role cards determining what kind of spirits they are “good” or “naughty” or if they are just “tricksters” changing sides as the game goes by.

Secret Santa 2017 Gift! I was surprised by the game play. Party games don't often have a "game" feel, but more of an activity feeling. This one has that quality, but it also contains a pleasantly stressful vibe when you are dreaming. The different roles of the clue-givers also makes the game play go up. It does suffer a bit from stalling on clue giving - and totally random clues just to move things along. But I found it better than most social games yet maintaining that lighter and (often) funny side.

I love the twist of the traitorous clue-giver, but I found that the luck of drawing a traitor card while a bad guesser went was so swingy that it ended up determining the winner most of the time. I guess you could argue "it's a party game, it doesn't matter", but given that the whole twist the game relies on is scoring-based, it kind of does matter...

Splendid artwork. The trickster makes the game really shines :D My gaming group very much enjoyed the game SO FAR. However, we needs more cards, at least double of them, seriously :) The low number of card really decreases the long term replay-ability.
