Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

The second of the Clever series, TaC is a deceptively thinky Rube Goldberg of points. Just glancing at the colorful score sheets teases its pinball combo potential. It isn't a hard game to learn. Once you familiarize yourself with the version's scoring tracks the rest of the game is largely up to the roll of the dice. As is the series's staple mechanic, each player rolls three times and chooses dice to score on their respective tracks. The main caveat is that any lower numbers in the roll must be discarded to a dish. In multiplayer games other participants can utilize the ditched dice for their own sheets. I think the tantalizing promise of hitting that perfect wave of combos is what has me periodically playing a quick game.

I would say this is better than the original. If you're getting a bit bored of the original, this sequel adds an extra layer of complexity. That extra complexity isn't necessarily better, just different.

A more complex and more puzzly successor of "Ganz schön clever" with similar gameplay but different (colored) mini games and more player abilities (pull back).
