Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building

It says 2-4, but only 3 can play at a time. Aside from that, it's a dexterity game. The fact that you can use blocks of the extra color for support/balance is interesting, but it's still "build up stuff quick". Meh.

Interesting take on a puzzle game. Could pique the interest of the Metz family and our nieces & nephews in a couple of years.

Neat little spatial logic stacking game. Incredibly light and extremely easy to teach. Components are nice weight and work well.
