You are one of the Dream Sheep, the sheep that people count in order to drift off to Dreamland! Each time you jump the fence, you help your person fall asleep easier — but the Nightmares that haunt these dreams threaten a rude awakening…
On a turn in Sheepy Time, you play one of two cards in your hand to move around the circle, potentially activating neat effects, while jumping the fence each time you complete a lap to put yourself in position to earn more points. When refilling your hand, however, if you draw a Nightmare card, you have to activate the Nightmare — and if it crosses your path, your human may be scared awake, which means you’ll earn no points this round. How far do you dare push your Zzzs to prove you’re the dreamiest sheep of all!

Excellent package for family and more experienced gamers. It hits that sweet spot for press your luck where you want to see the other players succeed in their presses, even if it means you lose. There's a pleasing arc to the game as you build out the board with additional considerations and combinations. This escalates excitement at playing each successive round in just the right way. Every play has been a joy. I've enjoyed it the most at 4P. 2P is the weakest count. The spider is the only nightmare I'm likely to play at 2P moving forward. Shoot, the spider is the best nightmare overall. Here's hoping we get more Nightmares.

Don’t let the cute aesthetic fool you - there is a good amount of game here that blends push your luck racing with cool “Zzzz” economy actions. Plays fast, but has some truly agonizing moments when you decide to race for more points against the nightmare.

A fun and fast filler push-your-luck game. Draw cards and play them to move around a track and score points, while avoiding the nightmare monster. Fun enough with the cards, a lot of randomness there. And you can easily get one-shot by the monster if you're unlucky with the draws. There seems to be quite some unbalance with the tiles with powers that you add to the table. And the rules around this could probably use some tweaking. Overall good and fun!
