Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
The primary goal of a set collection mechanic is to encourage a player to collect a set of items.
Set Collection
This mechanism requires players to select individual actions from a set of actions available to all players. Players generally select actions one-at-a-time and in turn order. There is usually(*) a limit on the number of times a single action may be taken. Actions are commonly selected by the placement of game pieces or tokens on the selected actions. Each player usually has a limited number of pieces with which to participate in the process.

I really enjoyed this game! It's easy to catch on to, but requires enough strategy that it can be played again. It is a visually appealing game and your opponents' decisions might thwart or help you as you play. I look forward to playing it again!

This is a nice simple game of grabbing dice in order to score cards. I like the way you randomly set up the board and how you can strategically grab the dice based on angle of the line and value of the dice. There's also some interesting decisions on what type of cards you'll go for in order to maximize points and beat your opponents. The big flaw in the game is the analysis-paralysis. It takes time to view all the possible options and to find the perfect place to play your pawn and grab the best dice for your situation. It gets a little easier as the round goes on and the dice start to clear out, but early on the turns can really lock people up. Time to play suffers and therefore it just isn't one I'll pick to play as often as other similar games.

Pretty to look at. Solo (and more) variant: https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/181182/noctiluca-variants-compendium-arah
