Mysterium
Unable to talk, the amnesic ghost will communicate with the mediums through visions (illustrated cards). They will have to decipher the images to help the ghost remember how he was murdered (who? where? which weapon?). The more they cooperate and guess well, the easier it will be to the catch the right culprit.

I enjoy this game but I have a few issues with it. Its much less enjoyably for me to play as the spirit/ghost as it can be frustrating depending on the cards you are dealt. I also think the final round valuation is kind of broken because someone who has been playing well the whole game can just lose off one guess and vice versa. The feeling itself in that round kind of fizzles instead of reaching a proper climax. That said i love the production of this game. The art is beautiful and can give you multiple avenues of who or what you want to indicate. There is a lot more group dependency as well so it can be a lot more fun but I don't give points to a game for the right group making it a better experience.

More of an experience than a game at times, especially at the end, where the final round honestly seems a bit silly and pointless - all you really wanna be doing is more of what the early rounds were, and if you lose the final round, you lose the entire game, which just feels arbitrary and boring. Hell, even winning feels boring, as it's not a good climax - you're just solving the cards correctly and then not because it's over. The clairvoyance mechanic is also just plain bad, and not contained in the original anyway, so you can tell it's meant to be played without it. I recommend doing just that. Why do I still score it well after all that? Well, it's a fun experience, and nothing provides what it does. I kinda wish there was another game where one player gives clues to everyone else and they work together to try to solve them, specifically spending the whole game trying to get into the head of one person, because it's a killer concept - but Mysterium is what we've got, and it is by all accounts pretty darn good, so eh.

A lot of fun with family, friends and you could also play it with kids (not too young of course), so this hits the table often. The artwork is very nicely done and I like the vision cards in this game better than the Dixit cards (which already have amazing artwork).
