Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Machi Koro without expansions is quite boring. But with the expansions offered in this edition, it's fun and easy to play!
Bigfifty
Picking this expansion up is pretty much mandatory if you like Machi Koro. While I don't always use the Millionaire's Row, we always use the Harbor. The Harbor fixes some issues with the base game and just makes the game better.
reversed
The variable supply market changes up the strategies but add's a lot more mean cards, increases the game length due to more landmarks to build. It can be hard to buy the cards you want if they don't turn up in the market.
