Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Player elimination occurs in multiple-player games (>2) when a player can be eliminated from the game and play continues without the eliminated player.

An improvement to the original's light deduction and hand management (at least with more than 2 players), and the higher possible player count is great. But if you didn't like the game before, there's nothing that'll make you like it now.

I've never played the original version but the components and art is well done - particularly the point tokens. It's easy to get to the table, is random but incredibly fun for all ages and has a "micro" footprint. Lots to like here.

A great game that you can easily play multiple times in a night. That is also one of the drawbacks as it has become less interesting than it once once. It still is a great game to fill a few minutes.
