Based on the smartphone game and this is a real-time board game where players grab tetris-like pieces and build a path through their board. Collect coins and accomplish missions for points. Three rounds is a game and players gather gadgets that help them after each round finishes. It's quick, simple and pretty fun for a super basic real-time game. Fits the theme from the smartphone game well.

As far as sticking to source material, Jetpack Joyride feels surprisingly like the digital side-scrolling app. You dodge lasers and missiles, while collecting coins and slapping five with some scientists, all while frantically grasping for pentominoes which more-or-less brings the real-time nature of the app to the table. The nostalgia it delivers for users of the app will justify some table time, but there isn't a huge depth of play to explore.

Fast-paced and short puzzle game. Find your way through the lab while collecting coins, high-fiving scientists and avoiding lasers and missiles. Easy to learn. Up to 6 players with the Party Expansion.
