In Action Point (AP) Allowance System games, each player is allotted a certain amount of points per round. These points can be spent on available actions, until the player does not have enough remaining to "purchase" any more actions.
Action Point Allowance System
Deck building/Pool building refers to a collection of related mechanisms. Players have a personal pool, or collection, of cards or tokens, that provide different actions and/or resources. A subset of those cards/tokens are randomly drawn each turn.
Deck / Pool Building
Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.

Played it at Essen 2018. Game mechanics are a bit finicky, a lot of micromanaging and pre-planning before you can take an actual move. I think the main problem for me lie in its semi-cooperative nature, where you need to plan together but not too closely to avoid the others from "winning". It was too easy as a normal coop game though. Not for me but people who enjoy semi-coop games might like it.

A produção é no mínimo genial. A arte tem cara de reaproveitamento, mas não incomoda.

I met Luis at Gen Con 2018 and despite having a strict budget, I found myself buying his entire collection (Dwar7s Fall and Winter and expansions) because I was so impressed with the beauty of the game. Luis is not only the game designer but the illustrator. We have unpacked all the components and read teh rules and can't wait to play. Looking forward to seeing what is coming from Luis in the future.
