Make the game a bit more appealing to gamers, raises the complexity a notch, and introduces more chaos into the fray. What more could you want?

Loving the extra gameplay element that the expansion brings. I feel like it adds bit more complexity to an otherwise quite light game, which is neither good or bad, necessarily. Depends what you're in the mood for. I can see myself playing the original version again, especially when teaching the game to new people. It still keeps the game short, too, which is a major plus! I'm very happy with this purchase. :)

Magic items slow the game down too much and gives the last player too much of an advantage. Maybe you should be limited to just 1 magic item played per turn. The new spells, injuries and wandering monsters are a fun addition, but it's let down by the magic items.
