Dixit: Mirrors

The simultaneous action selection mechanic lets players secretly choose their actions. After they are revealed, the actions resolve following the rule-set of the game.
Simultaneous Action Selection
In storytelling games, players are provided with conceptual, written, or pictorial stimuli which must be incorporated into a story of the players' creation.
Storytelling
Voting allows players to influence the outcome of certain events within the game. The vote may be all or nothing, choosing a target for an effect, or to determine the results of certain situations. Players’ votes may not have equal weight, and blocking a player from voting can be a valid tactic.

2022-01-30 Initial Rating: 8.0 (January 2022) As I love Dixit, it is only natural that I also love its expansions. If you play Dixit a lot, patterns begin to emerge so an expansion or two becomes necessary to keep the game fresh, however, there are several expansions in print now, so the pool of cards became almost unmanageable. This means, more Dixit expansions aren’t really needed nor are they necessary. Having said that, I do feel the need to own them all as I love the game, for me, more Dixit is always better. As I have so many cards, I have to use two boxes to store them all and I always sleeve them. Dixit: MIrrors comes with the usual 84 new cards and that´s awesome to me. The art of the cards continues to be top notch and ambiguous. I just love it. The expansion adds lot so of life to the base game, the replay value is now through the roof if you have several Dixit expansions but adding just only this one would breathe a lot of life into the base game. For now, I´m giving Dixit: Mirrors the same rating I gave to the base game. Current Rating: 8.0

Art in this expansion is probably my favourite. Dixit: Mirrors has 84 cards sleeved with Mayday Magnum Dixit-Cards (80x120mm, MDG-7104, 100pk).

See additional notes in my main game comment section. The only reason I am copy pasting these is that there are no further metrics to the base game, only new cards. This does not change play in the least, so the initial rating still stands.
