Hand management games are games with cards in them that reward players for playing the cards in certain sequences or groups. The optimal sequence/grouping may vary, depending on board position, cards held and cards played by opponents. Managing your hand means gaining the most value out of available cards under given circumstances. Cards often have multiple uses in the game, further obfuscating an "optimal" sequence.
Hand Management
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

This was ok. The concept is cute, but there was a lot of set up learning and it did not feel like the characters interacted enough with each other.

Theme and art are incredible. I just don't like Take-That... If you like Take-That, you'll love playing the role of a villain.

Positives: Theme is great (hits the Disney vibes well) Asymmetric characters with different win conditions A solid "take that" game where there is a good amount of player interaction Almost all the expansions piggy back each other so you can have alot of different match ups Game looks great Negatives: Falls in the wierd gray area of Light and medium (not easy to teach to a newbie, but too simple/easy to play with a veteran gamer) Balancing is bad (some characters have easier win conditions or some of them are a total luck fest with just needing a certain card to pop up) Winning sometimes feels like you just got lucky Marvel expansion (probably the coolest one) doesn't link up with the other ones Game is way too lucky in general... not satisfying when you win Kinda of expensive as a total package (each pack can cost $20+)
