This mechanic requires you to place a bid, usually monetary, on items in an auction of goods in order to enhance your position in the game. These goods allow players future actions or improve a position. The auction consists of taking turns placing bids on a given item until one winner is established, allowing the winner to take control of the item being bid on. Usually there is a game rule that helps drop the price of the items being bid on if no players are interested in the item at its current price.
Auction/Bidding
Card drafting games are games in which players pick cards from a limited subset, such as a common pool, to gain some advantage (immediate or longterm) or to assemble hands of cards that are used to meet objectives within the game.
Card Drafting
Play occurs upon a modular board that is composed of multiple pieces, often tiles or cards. In many games, board placement is randomized, leading to different possibilities for strategy and exploration. Some games in this category have multiple boards which are not used simultaneously, preserving table space. Unused boards remain out of play until they are required.

This couldn't have been playtested, aside from a bunch of presumably very drunk or high people in a room rolling marbles down the track. The gameplay is utterly lacking and the game is unimaginably bad. I'm just grateful I was able to trade this away before the hype died completely.

Oh so very very disappointed in this one. The coasters themselves are a gimmick (and don't even work) tacked on to a very underwhelming and undeveloped 'game'. It doesn't even work! The auction mechanic is not fun and can mean you don't actually get a turn as the round ends as soon as somebody buys a piece. The powers of the staff you employ vary HUGELY - corporate accountant turn one seems pretty unstoppable.... and you don't even really get to play with the cool roller coaster pieces very much in the rules as written :soblue: We could not workout how to put together the loop piece and when assembled the rest of the coaster pieces were flimsy and rolling the marble down mostly resulted in it failing to even crest the first hill, so as this was the unique selling point of the game and it doesn't even work this makes for a VERY VERY disappointing play experience  Sold in 2019.

Played at Essen. Mish-mash of mechanisms that don’t really fit together. Did not impress any of the four at our table.
