Wow ... to say this was a disappointment, is an understatement. I was very much looking forward to playing this game. I love Lovecraft, I like Arkham Horror (2e), Mythos Tales, Arkham Horror LCG, Call of Cthulhu RPG, and I like Mansions of Madness 1e. This game is ranked #30 all time on BGG, how then could be a miss for me? Doesn't make sense, but this is, quite simply, a bad game IMHO. First of all, it is nearly $100 for 4 scenarios. You can replay the scenarios with some app generated variability regarding rooms, starting items, random monsters, but the story doesn't change. That is an awful lot of money for that little game. The minis are laughably bad. They don't stay in their holders, particularly the rioters, three little men that are near impossible to attach on without knocking the others off. The cardboard information counters that slide in the bases, constantly slip out or partially out so you can't see the stats. That is a ton of plastic that really has no use except to get in the way. I've read that many don't even bother with the minis and just use the cardboard. As for the gameplay, there is no skill or strategy involved. You can choose where to explore but the app will then throw things at you. I see guns in the item pile, but where do you get them? You can't buy anything, you just have to hope you get good randomly generated starting items or find something. I just took what the app threw at me, rolled the dice and could do nothing about bad rolls and I was dead rather quickly with no legitimate weapons to fight with. I played two scenarios, and that was enough. I hate to criticize the work of others because I know how hard they must work to produce a product. But this one fails on so many levels. I don't have any idea how this game could be ranked 30 as of April, 2020.

Maybe you're like me and the hype has you wondering if the app, theme, and puzzle aspect of the game might make this a thematic game that even a eurogamer could love. Nope - not a fan. But that's not the game's fault. I had no business buying this.
