Cooperative Play
Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

Interesting pseudo dungeon crawler that is portable, easy to set up and take down, and takes only maybe 60 minutes to play. It also doesn't sprawl like many of the others dominating the genre today (Gloomhaven, Middara, Sword and Sorcery, etc.). It is entertaining, but what separates this game from the giants of the genre also, for me, is its weakness and that is ... the game has a thin story, lots of "samey"ness, and there are few tactics in the gameplay. Don't regret my purchase, but there isn't a ton here. This set and its sister set "The Great Sewers" are both considered "novice sets". When the "non-novice" sets are released, and that appears to be the plan from the designers, maybe the game play, story and depth will improve. There is hope because the nucleus here isn't bad. Edit (9/13/20): These two games were traded for D-Day at Omaha Beach ... a game that I wanted more.

Love RPG feel here and how every game creates a story. Perfect for solo playing. Lots of potential to expand this world, very looking forward to what creators have planned in the future.

Looks to be everything a casual, time-strapped dungeon crawl fan would want in a game. Very promising and sure to deliver.
