Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

What a unique experience, I want to make games now. I wish the directions were more fleshed out, I would have given it a 10. But it's really too much guesswork, it made it unplayable. There's really no excuse for not providing player aids and more descriptions. After playing for 4 hours I still didn't know how and when to use the armor I'd gotten or how to correctly navigate the Sky story cabs. I will change my rating after I find an official explanation of the rules.

This game is ruined by a terrible rulebook and incomplete/confusing instructions in the adventure book. The ideas here are cool, and the story is interesting, so this might have been a neat game if it had an even remotely competent rulebook. But it's largely unplayable without making up your own rules to fill in all the gaps in the rulebook and adventure book. I never understand why designers ruin their games with incompetent rulebooks.

Excellent writing but the mechanisms are random to an unbelievable degree and the design is questionable, with scenarios not seeming play-tested for balance.
