Dice rolling in a game can be used for many things, randomness being the most obvious. Dice can also be used as counters. The dice themselves can be unique and different sizes, shapes and colors to represent different things.

I really wanted to love this game. The premise is great, unique, and super ambitious. But it's just not pulling me in. Even though the game is story-driven, the player avatars seem to be random characters with no real backstory, and you switch them constantly, even mid-game. So, it's difficult to get attached or invested in who you are as a player. Combat is also annoying and focused on far too much. I hate the defense mechanic. I think it's almost always better to just take the hit and use the saved die on your next turn. Still some really cool ideas here though.

The narrative, setting, and visual presentation are great. The page system is novel and I enjoyed the dice action drawing. The problem is that the game can drag on for far too long and each scene possesses about 5 minutes of interesting bits jammed into 10-15 minutes of playtime. By the time I hit the two hour mark and we wrapped it up, I was already checked out. Upon repeated plays much of the magic and interest is lost re-visiting areas. This unduly emphasizes the repetition and length. Overall, it's just not quite holding up its end of the bargain. ------------------------------------------ Full review: https://playerelimination.com/2019/02/18/dream-a-little-bigger-a-comanauts-review/

Две партии.. единственная игра, которую не поняли пока.. претендент на разочарование. Или неправильно играли, или не наше.. это прям нонсенс. Так как мне все игры нравятся
