Now the horror reaches new heights with Widow’s Walk, the first-ever expansion for the critically acclaimed board game Betrayal at House on the Hill. In Widow’s Walk, terror and panic are taken to a whole new level.

This has to be the most uneven expansion of any game I've ever bought. The haunts are wildly hit-or-miss. It feels like they simply weren't playtested in most cases. There are a few gems in there, but they're lost amidst a bunch of junk. A lot of the new cards and rooms are decent, but the addition of the Attic as an additional floor is *terrible*. After a while, we banned the attic landing from the game just to keep haunt teams from being able to run too far from each other. The new material is *not* balanced for the original haunts whatsoever. If you need to find rooms X, Y, and/or Z, or cards A, B, and/or C, and suddenly the room and card stacks are twice their base size, well ... good luck with that.

Added scenarios which is good if you've played all the base scenarios, but they were far too campy/weird for our group. Wanted more scary scenarios, not "turn into a social media zombie"

While on one hand it gives a lot of new endings for seasoned players, sometimes it feels as though it makes the game and the house too easy to navigate.
