Based on the award-winning Betrayal at House on the Hill board game, in Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate you’ll return to Baldur’s Gate again and again thanks to the fifty included scenarios only to discover it’s never the same game twice.
Can you and your party survive the madness, or will you succumb to the mayhem and split (or slaughter!) the party?

it is a cleaner experience than house on the hill. And while there was still a little rules struggle, overall it did just fine. Thankfully it is also not replaced by betrayal legacy.

Definitely better than Betrayal at the House on the Hill. The items, powers and omens just seem to flow better. It's still very random but there is a lot of content and possibilities. It's makes for a fun adventure that goes quickly.

Never played the original Betrayal, but this re-theme drew me in right away. I'm always excited to play this one, though it can be a bit steep if you're introducing new players and they're lucky enough to become the traitor. Also... the traitor often has a very strong advantage. This is especially true in lower player count games.
