This is a pure and simple computer puzzle game with graphics from the 90-ties. More could be expected today. There are many better puzzle computer games for that money. I wrongly thought the game would be like an escape room game in the style of Exit or Unlocked with computer assistance and narration. My invited boardgame friends bailed out after a couple of minutes. I had to play it alone.

I suppose if you like solving a series of puzzles in an adventure style video game, you might like it. It wasn't a terrible experience--but the "deluxe" pieces aren't really worth it. Still, it is kind of neat. Kind of. Definitely not a boardgame.

It was a fun exit style game to play in one night. There was only one puzzle whose answer didn't make sense logically so we needed the answer. We played using the deluxe prop pieces but they unfortunately didn't really add to the experience. In the end you are required to interact with their digital counterparts in order to complete puzzles and for the game to register any progress made. Still I did enjoy the adventure and will be hanging onto the props as collectables as an Arkham fan. I'd be happy to see more adventure games come out for the Arkham Horror line.
