Clacks: A Discworld Board Game
30m
1 - 4 Players
Ages 8+
In Action Point (AP) Allowance System games, each player is allotted a certain amount of points per round. These points can be spent on available actions, until the player does not have enough remaining to "purchase" any more actions.
Action Point Allowance System
Co-operative play encourages or requires players to work together to beat the game.
Cooperative Play
Pattern Building is a system where players place game components in specific patterns in order to gain specific or variable game results. For example: placing chips on 2, 4, 6, 8 on a board gets the player an action card they can use later in the game.
Pattern Building
Maneuvers that directly attack an opposing player's strength, level, life points or do something else to impede their progress.

Interesting game that make you plan several turns ahead while hoping that opposing players don't hinder you too much. Solo game plays quickly and is fun while challenging (especially on the harder difficulty).
Nyom7
Not gotten to play it as much as I'd like but what I have seen on it is that it makes good use of strategy. Definitely would say even number of players works best.

As a Discworld fan, I respect what this game is trying to do but I really wish that the result was more interesting than it is. As others have said, it's kind of weird you're playing as the "bad guys" from the book ('Going Postal', one of my favorites) but it doesn't bother me a whole lot since I find the clacks system pretty neat.
