They had better. There’s no moon.

That’s right! The setting of Merchants of the Dark Road has no moon. It’s a small detail, that isn’t necessarily important to the game, but as we were world-building for a game set in a land where half of the year is spent in darkness we thought this would be an interesting touch. This fact makes the stars in the night sky that much more important to the citizens of the land. Lanterns, and other items that shine or reflect light have great importance. So does the rabbit?

The lantern may flicker and fade. But the coins still shine!

Lumi Metal Coins are compatible with both the Standard and Deluxe Edition of Merchants of the Dark Road, and are not included in either, as they are an add-on from the Merchants of the Dark Road initial campaign.
